The voluntary group helping to find homes for Ukrainian refugees in the Scarborough Borough say there are lots of ways local people can get involved, even if they don't have the space to host a family themselves.
The Sunflower Appeal Group have been helping find hosts for Ukrainians who have had to flee their homes due to the ongoing war.
Iain Butterworth is from the group, he says there are lots of things they need help with.
Iain says there are lots of ways local people can get involved, even if they cant provide accommodation, he says they need help with a number of tasks on a weekly basis.
The group have been arranging English lessons for the Ukrainian families and have been helping them to navigate the paperwork required to secure visa's, school places, benefits and work opportunities.
