A dramatic 90th minute winner dragged Whitby Town out of the NPL Premier relegation zone.
Harrison Beeden was the hero with a last gasp finish as he combined with skipper and fellow centre-half Danny Rowe.
The unusual combination for a goal saw them beat rivals Stalybridge to climb two places upwards in the table.
The bottom half is so tight now that three points separate eight clubs from 12th to 19th.
