Organisers of Easter Sunday's Filey Food Festival has postponed the day's events due to the effects of Storm Dave.
With strong winds and heavy rain blasting much of the country, organisers released the following statement on Saturday night:
'After assessing the weather forecast, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s Filey Food Festival due to the worsening conditions expected from Storm Dave.
'While conditions may improve later in the day, there are significant concerns about the safety of leaving stalls in place overnight and through Sunday, as well as the potential for damage.
'We’re incredibly sorry for any disappointment this may cause and truly appreciate your understanding. We look forward to welcoming you back on 6 & 7 June.'
