Folkton & Flixton missed out on promotion after a low-scoring clash at rivals Beverley and Scarborough ended their season on a high.
The villagers wanted to join Boro and Driffield in Yorkshire Premier North, but were beaten by rivals Beverley Town, by 76 runs.
Folkton & Flixton won the toss and put Town in to bat.
Connor Stephenson then took 5/45 as Beverley were bowled out for just 178 in the final over.
The visitors then put on 55 for the first wicket, but it all went downhill from there as they crumbled to 102 all out in the 39th over.
Opener Rich Malthouse top-scored with 33, but only two other players reached double figures.
It was a disappointing end to a brilliant season for the villagers as Beverley go up by just six points.
They'll join Scarborough & Driffield next season, with Boro winning their derby by five wickets.
Driffield chose to bat first with Noah Kelly making 57, Alec Drury 55 and skipper George Drury adding 51 not out as the hosts posted 250/8 from their 50 overs. Hayden Williamson took 2/35.
Scarborough were then indebted to opener Jack Redshaw who smashed an incredible 132 from just 97 balls.
Boro were 68/3 at one stage but recovered to get home by five wickets with more than 11 overs to spare.
Redshaw put on 137 with captain Clarke Doughney, who only added 36 of those runs.
In YPN Championship East, Bridlington finish fourth after a comfortable seven-wicket win over Goole Town.
Goole chose to bat first but soon regretted that call as they were rolled over for just 105 with three wickets each for messers Robinson and Traves.
Brid then sped home inside 14 overs, with Jordan Baker smashing 51 from 39 balls, including four sixes.
Pickering will be in there with Brid and Folkton & Flixton next season after sealing another crushing victory to end their YPN Division One East campaign.
They put hosts South Holderness in to bat then skittled them out for 137 inside 24 overs.
Kieran Boyes impressed with three wickets for five runs in two overs.
In reply, Pickering were in a hurry as they got home in the 21st over.
Archie Welford struck 78 not out from 68 balls.
Filey tasted victory too, in the same division, as they won another low-scoring contest.
They were put in at North Cave only for skipper David Brannan to rattle off a sparkling century.
Brannan's 103 not out saw the visitors to 175/8 from their 50 overs.
Filey's bowlers then took over, dismissing the Coal Exporters for just 103 in the 32nd over.
Geyle took 6/33 and Dawson 4/24.
Whitby's season was summed up with a comprehensive humbling at The Turnbull Ground.
Visitors Thornaby racked up a formidable 410/8 from their 50 overs- Steve Allen took 5/77.
The hosts then crumbled to 59 all out in the 18th over, top scorer was Jay Allison with 21.
Whitby finish bottom of North Yorkshire South Durham Division One after a difficult campaign confirming their relegation.
