Only Bridlington Town took any points on a difficult Saturday for our local football sides.
Brid scrapped hard for a 0-0 draw with Hebburn Town in NPL East as they continue their recovery from a nightmare start to the season.
Scarborough Athletic are 11th in the NPL Premier despite an impressive debut for Luca Colville. The winger, signed from Scottish Championship side Greenock Morton, netted twice in a losing cause, 3-2 at Hyde United.
Whitby Town dropped out of the top five in the division after a 3-1 reverse at home. Stafford Rangers kept up their good form after a deserved victory at the Towbar Express Stadium. Jacob Hazel had brought the Blues level early in the first half, but the West Midland outfit were much the better side after the interval and netted either side of the break to win.
