North Yorkshire Police's Chief Constable has revealed some concerning figures around drink and drug driving in the region.
Tim Forber says those who harm another person while under the influence will go to prison:
He also defended the force's commitment to tackle speeding calling it the number one killer on the region's roads:
The Chief Constable says his officers will continue to be out and about to target those driving illegally.
He invited anyone with concerns about speeding on a particular section of road to contact North Yorkshire Police.
