Scarborough Sports Village is getting in the festive spirit with a Christmas Family Fun Day today.
The centre will host the event from 9.30am-6pm.
It will give adults and children the chance to use the facilities at a fraction of the usual cost, with families able to take part in as many activities as they wish for just £5 per family.
These activities include family swim, sensory swim, Active Antz, badminton and table tennis.
There will also be a visit from Bee Active, Everyone Active’s lovable mascot, who will be handing out gifts to children and joining in the fun.
Rachael Barnes, Everyone Active’s general manager, said:
“We are really excited to welcome the local community to our wonderful festive event.
“There will be something here for all ages and interests to enjoy and it will be amazing to see everyone get in the Christmas spirit.”
Everyone Active runs six facilities across North Yorkshire, including Whitby Leisure Centre, Pindar Leisure Centre, Ryedale Swim and Fitness Centre, Ryedale Sports Centre and Derwent Swim and Fitness Centre.
