Boro have now won 4 of their last 6 league games and sit 7th in the NPL, level on points with Whitby Town.
Scarborough have played a game more than the Blues and both teams are just 3 points off the playoffs places.
The home side took the lead on 7 minutes with Bailey Gooda heading home from a corner. He kissed the Scarborough athletic badge on his shirt as he celebrated.
The visitors equalised against the run of play but Cameron Wilson bagged Scarborough's winning goal in the 2nd half after some terrific build up play.
A very healthy weekday crowd of 927 were making lots of noise all night and the Seadogs will be feeling confident ahead of a tricky couple of away games starting with Stalybridge this Saturday before a trip to table-topping Matlock Town on Tuesday.
Here's the winning goal, courtesy of SAFC TV with commentary from Paddy:
We will have full match commentary of Stalybridge V Boro on This Is The Coast Extra this Saturday with commentator Ant Taylor broadcasting from shortly before kick off.
