Whitby Town will play their first match since the resignation of manager Lee Bullock, with caretaker boss Denny Ingram determined to give supporters a reason to cheer.
Tuesday night football will return to the Towbar Express Stadium as Whitby Town step out under the lights for their latest fixture.
The upcoming match marks a significant transition for the club, as it is the first time the Blues will be in action since the unexpected departure of their manager.
Lee Bullock recently resigned from his position at the helm of the club, stepping down due to health reasons.
Caretaker charge of the team will once again fall to assistant boss Denny Ingram, who is stepping up to guide the squad through this transitional phase.
Navigating a difficult period for everyone associated with the football club, the temporary manager is focusing his attention on delivering a positive performance for the loyal supporters.
Speaking ahead of the Tuesday night clash, he emphasised the importance of rewarding the fanbase after a challenging few days.
Ingram told Whitby Town TV:
"We've got to give something back to these fans who keep turning up and wanting us to do well. It's all right then wanting us to do well. We've got to go out and make sure that we do well and give them something to cheer about. I say, it's been very tough, obviously with what's happened. I certainly wasn't expecting to be in this position. So, look, what's happened puts football on the back burner as such to a certain content, but we've got to dust ourselves off. We can't feel sorry for ourselves. We've got to regroup, we've got to go again and we've got to prepare for Tuesday."
Kick off at the Towbar Express Stadium is 7.45pm.
