Scarborough Athletic Fight Back For Point in Northants

The Seadogs recovered well to grab a point after one of their longest trips of the season, on Saturday.

Hosts Brackley broke the deadlock on 26 minutes in National North.

Boro had looked decent before that with Jack Waldron, Luca Colville and Mo Fadera all coming close.

Early in the second half, Jake Hull made a brilliant block and that proved crucial as the Seadogs were back on terms within ten minutes of the restart.

Hull turned provider, winning a header which fellow defender Kieran Weledji volleyed home for 1-1.

Brackley forced a string of fine saves from Ryan Whitley late on, including a goal-line clearance.

However, Jono Greening's men battled hard to take a draw back to North Yorkshire.
