The incident involved a member of the door staff who was attacked with a glass bottle.
North Yorkshire Police are seeking information regarding an assault that occurred inside the Buck Inn, located at St Anne’s Staith, shortly after midnight on Saturday, 31 January 2026.
In connection with the investigation, a 35-year-old woman has been arrested. Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any relevant information to come forward.
Detective Damon Schweitzer of North Yorkshire Police stated,
“We are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the vicinity of the Buck Inn at the time of the assault. Your information could be vital in helping us understand the circumstances surrounding this incident.”
