The 0920 'Optimist' service has been cancelled after the incident this morning.
North Yorkshire Moors Railway have cancelled their 0920 'Optimist' service after a truck hit a bridge close to Goathland Station. They have since announced this afternoon's services WILL be going ahead.
A picture sent to This Is The Coast shows masonry and railings on the track below the bridge.

Unfortunately due to a truck hitting a bridge at Goathland this morning the 0920 Optimist service has been cancelled today.
The situation is currently being assessed and a further update about the 1200 Optimist departure will be issued shorty.
