Police have concluded their initial investigation into the death of a woman in her 40s in Albemarle Crescent in Scarborough on Monday.
Officers were called at around 5.25pm on Monday 9 May when a member of the public saw a woman on the fourth-storey ledge of a property in Albemarle Crescent.
A short time later, the woman was seen to fall from the ledge and sadly sustained fatal injuries.
North Yorkshire Police say
"We can now confirm that officers do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
The man who was arrested in connection with the incident has now been released from the investigation with no further action taken against him.
A report will now be prepared for the Coroner to inform a future inquest."
