The club's promotion means it can now apply for funds from The Premier League Stadium Fund.
However Scarborough Athletic say there wont be any major upgrades to the Flamingo Land Stadium this summer.
But club chairman Trevor Bull says they do have plans in place for future upgrades and are working on securing the funds.
The clubs promotion means they are now eligible for the premier league funding scheme and can apply for a grant of up to £100k.
In an interview with Scarborough Athletic TV, Chairman Trevor Bull says there is a lot of work to do to secure the cash and even if they are successful it wont arrive in time to deliver any big stadium upgrades this summer.
The Premier League Stadium Fund awards capital grants to clubs to support improvement of their stadium facilities for players, supporters and officials. Funding is available to clubs who play in Steps 1 to 6 of the National League System, Tiers 1 to 4 of the Women’s Football Pyramid and clubs promoted into the English Football League.
Different funding amounts are available depending on which league a club is in. Scarborough's promotion to National League North means they can now apply for funding of up to £100,000 for certain ground improvement projects.
