There is an open invitation to a meeting in Bridlington tonight to boost Neighbourhood Watch in the town.
Residents in Bridlington are being invited to an open meeting to promote and develop Neighbourhood Watch in the town tonight.
Nigel Brignall is manager of East Riding Council's anti-social behaviour team, he says Neighbourhood Watch can have a big impact.
The meeting follows the launch of the 'Clear, Hold, Build’ scheme in Bridlington earlier this year which is a multi-agency national partnership approach designed to rescue areas of the country most blighted by organised crime.
Nigel says the town already has a strong Neighbourhood Watch presence which they are now looking to enhance.
The meeting will be held at Bridlington Spa’s Promenade Suite on Tuesday 18 June from 6-8pm, Nigel says anyone can drop in during the event for a chat and to meet some of the current Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinators.
