Bridlington Town suffered a frustrating 3-1 defeat away to Ossett United after conceding two goals in stoppage time during a heated Tuesday evening contest.

Bridlington Town suffered a frustrating defeat at Ingfield on Tuesday evening, with Ossett United scoring twice in the closing stages to turn a tightly contested match into a 3-1 victory.

The Seasiders started brightly and created the first real opportunity of the evening after just four minutes. Tibbett won the ball back with a block on the edge of the Ossett penalty area, with the loose ball falling to Nnenanya, who turned and fired wide of the target.

Bridlington continued to threaten the hosts' defence. Stewart drove down the right flank in the eleventh minute, cutting inside and winning a corner. Salam's delivery was met by a Bridlington head and parried by the goalkeeper, before Markham helped return the ball to Salam, whose follow-up delivery was eventually cleared away.

The early pressure finally paid off in the fourteenth minute when the visitors took the lead.
