A 10 year vision for Bridlington is being developed but there are concerns that the work is being done without local input.
Town and Ward Councillors say they haven't been involved in the project which is being lead by East Riding Council.
Councillor Andy Walker says the project appears to be at an advanced stage.
East Riding Ward Councillors for Bridlington say they have had no involvement in the East Riding Council project and the town council has also not been asked to take part.
Bridlington Councillor Tim Norman says he's seen the draft document and is far from impressed.
Councillor Norman says the project has been underway for a number of months.
