Plans for a new 10 year vision for Bridlington are causing concern for local councillors.
East Riding Council have contracted an outside agency to come up with a 10 year plan, but Bridlington Town Councillors say they know very little about the idea and haven't been involved in the process.
Town Councillor Tim Norman is disappointed at the lack of local involvement.
Speaking at a recent Town Council meeting Councillor Norman also questioned the effectiveness of previous investment projects in the town.
Councillor Norman says the new ten year vision seems to be being driven by the East riding Council's local growth team, he says he wants to see more information provided to the town about the project and a way for local people to have a say.
Councillor Norman called for the Town Council to write to senior managers at East Riding Council to put structures in place to enable local input into the process and also to enable the town to benefit from any levelling up funding that may be available.
