North Yorkshire Police are seeking the public's assistance following an assault that took place in Whitby during the early hours of Tuesday, 3 March.
The incident occurred around 12.45am on New Quay Road and involved a confrontation between two men.
According to police reports, the altercation escalated when one man threw a punch and subsequently broke a pair of glasses belonging to another individual. Authorities are particularly focused on identifying one of the men involved in the incident.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, around 25 years of age, and possessing a Scottish accent. He was reportedly wearing white workman-style trousers and workman-style boots at the time of the assault.
