For the first time in several years Scarborough will have an organised Fireworks display this evening.
The event is being staged at Scarborough Cricket Club
Louise Ingle from the club says the North Marine Road ground lends itself well to delivering a safe event for local families.
The event is at Scarborough Cricket Club with gates opening at 5pm and the Firework Display getting underway at 7:30pm.
As well as a professionally created Fireworks Display the event will also include free children’s entertainment and free bouncy castles, plus food stalls & bars.
John Dodds is the Head Groundsman at the club, he says it's great to be able to revive an old tradition
The event will be hosted by This Is The Coast presenter Darren Lethem, who will be joined by the Coast Crew and station mascot - Rover Reporter.
Tickets can bought in advance from the Cricket Club or on the gate and will cost £10 for adults, £5 for children with under 4’s getting free entry.
