East Riding Council are planning to reduce carbon emissions from it's streetlights.
LiveLabs 2 is a three-year, 30 million pound UK-wide programme that runs until March 2026.
Seven projects have been led by local authorities- working alongside commercial and academic partners from across the country.
Here's East Riding Councillor Paul West:
Live Labs say one main road street light is equivalent to 110 of their new solar-powered road studs.
They intend to use spacing to indicate speed to drivers and more colour to give early warning of hazards.
