A multimodal Transport hub is going to form the basis of Scarborough's station Gateway project, councillors hope it will benefit the whole borough.
Last week the borough council's cabinet passed plans to buy two buildings near to the railway station to enable the plans to go ahead.
Councillor Paul Riley was on the scrutiny committee that looked at the plans, he says the transport hub is impressive:
