Coastal Elegance: Creating Unforgettable Weddings at Scarborough Spa

Perched gracefully along the South Bay of Scarborough on the picturesque Yorkshire Coast, Scarborough Spa stands as a romantic seaside destination for couples planning their civil partnership or wedding celebration. Originally built in 1879, this Grade 2 listed Victorian building blends period grand architecture with sweeping sea views, offering a majestic backdrop against the sparkling North Sea.

Versatile Spaces for Outdoor and Indoor Ceremonies

Scarborough Spa provides an versatile range of settings tailored to host gatherings of any size. For outdoor ceremonies, the grand Sun Court serves as a popular setting, allowing couples to exchange vows with panoramic ocean views. Alternatively, vows can be taken on the Terrace overlooking the Sun Court, followed by a celebratory drinks reception in the newly refurbished Platinum Lounge. To protect against unpredictable coastal weather, Scarborough Spa ensures that a dedicated indoor ceremony space is always guaranteed for outdoor bookings.

Couples preferring indoor arrangements can choose from over five distinctive, characterful rooms, all licenced for Civil Ceremonies. The venue also features a private Wedding Suite, allowing the wedding party a dedicated space for morning preparation and freshening up throughout the day.
