There are calls for the operating hours of Whitby's Park and ride to be extended and for the situation with floodlights at the site to be reconsidered.
Currently the site - which is just inside the national park - isn't allowed to use floodlighting - limiting it's opening hours during the winter.
Whitby Town Councillor Heather Coughlan thinks that should be changed.
Whitby Mayor Linda Wild thinks the whole winter parking situation in the town needs to be looked at.
