The Yorkshire Coast Super Soap Box challenge is returning for a second year.
Last year the event saw teams race their non-motorised soapbox carts through Filey.
This year the event will be in Bridlington on Sunday the 11th of September.
Event Director Andrew Pearson hopes it will continue to tour the local area.
The event in September will see local teams racing non-motorised soapbox carts through the town.

Last year the Filey Super Soapbox Challenge entertained crowds of 20 thousand people.
Andrew Pearson says after last years hill start in Filey, the relatively flat Bridlington course is going to need a sizeable starting ramp.
Organisers of the event are looking for adventurous teams of five people to enter a team, build a cart and gather their friends and family to cheer them down the track for The Bridlington BID Super Soapbox Challenge. It could be a group of mates, colleagues from a local business who wish to brand their cart for their company, or a local community group or charity who can race to raise vital funds for their cause.
Over and above trophies for the top racers, entrants can compete for awards such as “Most Innovative Cart Design”, “Best Turned-out Soapbox crew” and even “Joker of the Day!”

We’re sure there’ll be a lot of thrills and spills along the way!”
