In the same division, Malton & Norton were squeezed out 25-21 at home by Bradford Salem.
In North East 1, Driffield enjoyed a 16-13 victory over Blaydon.
Bridlington also returned to winning ways, in Yorkshire One, with a 29-21 success over Rotherham's Wath-Upon-Dearne.
Whitby's winning run was halted 19-10 by Yarm, in Durham & Northumberland Three.
There looks to be no stopping Hornsea in Yorkshire Four North, they beat Aireborough 49-0.
