The effects of COVID on the Yorkshire Coast's small business are not over.
That's the message from the federation of small businesses who say their latest survey shows smaller firms are facing a number of challenges.
Scarborough Businessman Richard Askew is vice chair of the FSB's England policy unit, he says recovery from the effects of the lockdowns is going to take some time.
One of the findings from the latest survey by the Federation of Small Businesses is that smaller firms on the Yorkshire Coast are looking to take on more staff but are struggling to find them.
Richard Askew says many smaller firms are struggling to work at full capacity because of the shortages.
