Scarborough Athletic Aim For Home Victory Against Telford After Recent Defeat

Scarborough Athletic will look to bounce back from their recent loss as they host Telford at the Scarborough Sports Village this Saturday.

Scarborough Athletic will return to home turf this Saturday as they host Telford in the National North.

A strong reaction is expected from the squad following Monday's defeat away at Kings Lynn. The weekend fixture at the Scarborough Sports Village kicks off at 3pm, offering the team an immediate opportunity to secure three points in front of a home crowd.

Total faith in the squad remains high despite the recent setback. The team's work ethic and dedication to the club have been highlighted as crucial factors as they prepare for the upcoming clash.

Boss Jono Greening said:

"The players we've got are absolutely unbelievable, the attitude, the application. I would never ever, you know, put them down because they give absolutely everything for the club, so we keep going, we keep battling, we keep trying to keep performance and standards high, but it's all all about the reaction Saturday now. Just send them in there, make that rest up over the next two, three days. We'll go and try and put a real strong performance on at home and try and get three points Saturday and hopefully you know, we can have a massive crowd which we've been getting recently, which always spurs the players on and we can get the stadium rocking on Saturday and get three points."

Fans unable to attend the match in person can follow the action live. Full commentary will be broadcast on This Is The Coast Extra.

Additional insights from the manager can also be heard on the newly released Episode 73 of the Seadogs Podcast.
