Whitby Town have completed the signing of striker Ben Farrar on a dual-registration deal until the end of the season.
The young forward joins the club from York City, where he has recently spent time at Bridlington Town in the 2025/26 season, on loan, after progressing through the Minstermen's Academy.
On signing for Whitby Town, Farrar said:
"I did well in the league below. It was my first taste of men's football really but I feel like I did good enough there to make the step up.
"I'm looking forward to challenging myself. I've been looking at Whitby Town as a potential club in case I did make that move up to Step 3 so I know quite a bit about how they play."
Manager Gary Liddle said:
"I'm really pleased to bring Ben into the football club. He's a player who's well thought of at York City, and he's really enthusiastic and willing to test himself in men's football.
"He's done really well at Bridlington, adapting to all that comes with men's football. His next step is to come up to the next league up, and hopefully he can help with our need for goals and push himself and us on.
"It seems like it's a move that will suit all parties, and hopefully he can come in and score the goals that we've been missing recently."
