Work Continues on North Yorkshire School Return Plans

There will be a staggered return for Secondary school pupils in the New Year

Plans for the return of pupils to secondary schools and colleges in North Yorkshire are continuing to be worked on.

The Government has asked secondary schools to implement a staggered return for pupils in the new year.

There is also going to be a programme of lateral flow testing for students and staff.

Dr Victoria Turner is the county's public health consultant.

The Government asked for the staggered approach just before the end of term.

Richard Webb from North Yorkshire County Council explains what schools are being asked to do.
