The Blues are back at home in NPL Premier when Derbyshire side Ilkeston visit the Towbar Express Stadium.
Town are on a poor run, scoring just one goal in their last three games.
They've also had a run of postponements, frustrating defender Alex Nelson.
The centre-half spoke to Whitby Town TV after his man of the match award in the 0-0 draw at the weekend against Workington:
"It's awful when there's a game off. It could be a frozen pitch, snow, whatever it might be, waterlogged. That's how you spend your Saturdays. You don't know what to do with yourself for the Saturdays when you're not playing. Especially the off-season as well. It's just like you're waiting for the football to come at the weekend and it's not there. But we've been training, everyone's been ticking over, they've been running and all sorts of training, but it is nice to get back out there.
"It's nice to get some minutes in the legs and get a point at least on the board. I'd like it to have been three today. Good opportunity to be three, but like I said, a point is better than nothing.
"And hopefully that'll keep us in good stead for the next run of games, because January is a busy fixture list for us. There's quite a lot of games, so we've just got to just move onto the next one, really, on Tuesday night."
Blues player-boss Gary Liddle is expecting a difficult encounter against in-form Ilkeston:
"They'll come with a little bit of confidence as well. I think they've been on a decent run recently over the last couple of results. No, a tough game and that's it. As I just said out there and we push it under the carpet in some respects, in terms of now we just look forward to Ilkeston, but there's certainly a lot of stuff that we can improve on off today, certainly in an attacking aspect.
"We keep doing that whether it be training or whatever like that. No, we'll look forward to Tuesday and we're just looking for that little spark that hopefully can reignite our season again a little bit."
