The Blues are set to return to NPL Premier action, on Tuesday, at Cleethorpes.
It's a ground they've never visited before in their 100-year history.
The Lincolnshire side were promoted from NPL Division One East, for the first time, last season.
Blues player-boss Gary Liddle told Whitby Town TV that with the club just two points ahead of the relegation zone, they need to be realistic:
" I'm realistic. I've always been, first and foremost, I want to get to that 45, 50 points mark, whatever it may be, and then we can assess where we are then. But I think if I'm realistic of where we are as a squad, as a team, probably as a football club, I think the quicker we can certify our status within this division then that's for me, first and foremost, the aim.
"The consistency levels we're showing at the moment is always gong to mean that we're always looking over our shoulder, but we have shown at times, this season, that we can put runs together and we just don't do it often enough. And we haven't done it often enough over recent years, to be honest."
Kick-off at Cleethorpes, on Tuesday, is 7.45pm.
