The Blues saw off Lancaster City 3-0 at the Towbar Express Stadium on Saturday.
Layton Watts netted on his league debut for Whitby as their former home woes were swept aside with this win completing back to back victories at the Towbar Express Stadium:

Their visitors, so often a thorn in Town's side, started well with Aaron Bennett forcing a smart early save from Shane Bland.
Nic Evangelinos saw his deflected effort float just over the top before the hosts started to come into the clash midway through the first half.
The evergreen Nathan Thomas came close, forcing two defensive blocks, before moments later, going down in the away penalty area as his arm was held. The ex-Sheffield United midfielder took the resulting spot-kick himself, sending Andre Mendes the wrong way to open the scoring.

Thomas and Whitby seemed to grow after this and the well-travelled ace almost lobbed Mendes from his own half, with the ball dropping inches wide. Bennett tried a chip of his own, at the other end, but Bland held comfortably. Mendes blocked from Thomas and Bland then reacted well to deny Lewis Mansell with his legs.
Mendes parried superbly low to his right to deny Connor Simpson, but the lofty frontman would find the net, a minute before half-time. Watts' left-wing corner was nodded home the six foot five striker for 2-0.

As City looked to get back into the game, Bland saved from Brayden Shaw's deflected effort, on the hour. Within seconds it was game over as Campbell Darcy played a beautiful curving ball to release Watts, who rounded Mendes and calmly found the empty net.
Darcy then showed his prowess at the other end as he executed a brilliant block to clear off the Whitby goal-line and ensure a clean sheet for the rampant Seasiders.
