The Tripadvisor awards have named a Whitby eatery as the third best place for a date night in the UK.
Tripadvisor say that the "Best of the Best Date Night Restaurants Awards" reveal places ideal for couples to enjoy a meal out.
Altto Ristorante & Lounge Bar in Brazil has been crowned the most romantic restaurant in the world for 2022, the highest ranking UK restaurant is the Salamander Restaurant in the picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey, Cornwall which ranks 13th in the world.
The Salamnader also tops the UK list of top places to enjoy a date night and is closely followed by Jackson's Bistro in Bowness-on-Windemere and in third place Whitby's own Ditto Restaurant.
