Hooked on Harmony women’s choir is celebrating continued growth in Bridlington and is inviting new members to join its weekly rehearsals.
Meeting every Tuesday evening from 7–9pm, Hooked on Harmony has become a much-loved part of the local music and
community scene. The choir continues to go from strength to strength, attracting women of all ages who want to enjoy singing, build confidence
and be part of a supportive, uplifting group.
One Bridlington choir member says "I never thought I’d have the confidence to sing in public, but Hooked on Harmony has completely
changed that. Tuesday nights are now the highlight of my week – it’s fun, friendly, and such a boost for my confidence.”
Hooked on Harmony is open to women of all abilities. There are no auditions, no requirement to read music, and no pressure to have sung
before. Many current members joined believing they “couldn’t sing” and have since discovered a new passion, new friendships and a strong sense
of belonging, going on to perform at concerts and community events in inspiring venues across the region, including the iconic Beverley
Minster this December.
Founder and musical director of Hooked on Harmony, Jasmin deSylva says:
“Our Bridlington choir has grown into something really special. It’s a place where women support each other, have fun and challenge themselves musically and and we are always excited to welcome new singers into the mix.”
Women interested in joining are encouraged to book a taster session, allowing new singers to come along, try a rehearsal, and see what the
choir is all about. These can be booked online via the choir’s website at www.hookedonharmony.org.
