Has Scarborough got any talent?
That's the question being asked by a new community talent competition which has been launched in the town to raise funds for the YCMA.
Scarborough's Search for a Star will culminate in a grand final in July.
Organisers are now looking for performers to take part in three qualifying heats.
Organiser Richard Milburn says they are looking for a wide range of talents.
The "Search for a Star" show is aiming to raise funds for the YMCA with an Under 16 and Over 16 competition with heats in May and June and a Grand Final on 27th July.
Scarborough Actor - Tyler Smith - is one of the event organisers. He says they are now looking for talented Scarborians to take part in the qualifying heats.
