Whitby Town suffered a first away defeat since the 8th of April on Saturday.
The Blues had started the season impressively on their travels with wins at Guiseley, Marine, Ilkeston and Goole.
They did go ahead early on at NPL Premier leaders Radcliffe as Jacob Gratton found the net with his fourth goal in three games.
However the Lancashire side rallied to go 3-1 up by half-time in this third qualifying round FA Trophy tie.
Connor Smith then became Whitby's 12th different goalscorer this season with his first for the club, but they couldn't find a late leveller.
Blues boss Nathan Haslam spoke to Whitby Town TV after the match:
Town are in FA Cup action next weekend at Essex side Chelmsford City.
