Boro go to Kidderminster Harriers hoping to reverse their fortunes against the former National League club.
Harriers beat Boro twice last season but boss Jono Greening has other ideas.
He feels there's lots of options for the new look Seadogs:
"We want to start the season really well. We want to show them that we're a good footballing team. We want to show them that we're a good attacking team and defensively, we're a good team and we want to show everybody that we want to be in the National League. We want to do really well, we're here to win games of football.
"We never go anywhere to draw our game not even where from home and the plan is to do the same. And what we always do, we try and win a game of football. Playing the way we play, we've got real threat. Like I said, we've got Greeny's pace and Rio's cleverness, Luca, Dom Tear can nick a goal.
"We've got people who can score goals from everywhere. It's just about starting the season off really well. Keep pushing the lads, keep driving the standards and hopefully the lads can take that on board and can have a successful season."
There's likely to be competitive debuts for forward Rio Allan and defender Josh Hull as the Seadogs don their new yellow and blue away kit.
We have full commentary on This Is The Coast Extra from just before 3pm.
Boro start their home league campaign, at Bridlington Town, with a visit from AFC Fylde next Saturday (16th August).
