Businesses in the hospitality and tourism industry will be descending on Scarborough Spa today for the annual Yorkshire Hospitality, Tourism & Business Expo.
The Yorkshire Hospitality, Tourism & Business Expo returns to Scarborough today.
The Expo features an array of businesses showcasing their products and services to hospitality and retail traders.
Shirley Smith from the Scarborough Hospitality Association says it's a big event for the local tourism industry.
The event will see over 160 exhibitors showcasing their products and services to local hotels, B&B's, café's and Restaurants.
Shirley says there are a number of new exhibitors at this years' event.
Exhibitors will represent a diverse range of sectors, including food, drink, attractions, and service providers. Past exhibitors have included industry suppliers like Bid Foods, Booker, Freetobook, Adverset, Hopwells, Betton Farm, Wold Top Brewery, and Visit England.
Last year the event saw over 1,000 attendees from the hospitality sector and hosted more than 140 outstanding exhibitors.
The event is not for the general public and is instead for local businesses to attend.
The event is free to enter and runs from 10am -4:30pm on Tuesday March 4th at Scarborough Spa.
