A last gasp try gave Scarborough RUFC victory, at Silver Royd, on Saturday.
Coach Matty Jones made changes to cope with their physical opponents and it paid dividends in a sea-saw encounter, at Silver Royd. On Ladies Day, Scarborough came from behind with a Harry Domett try in the last minute securing a 26-24 win over Leeds side Morley in North East 1.
Bridlington were on the end of a close defeat, at Middlesbrough in Yorkshire One North. Brid lost out 34-25 in the North East.
Whitby were also edged out on the road, in Durham & Northumberland Division Two, it was even closer as they succumbed 17-13 at Seaham.
