North Yorkshire Director of Health and Adult services, Richard Webb says the levels seem to have stabilised but remain high.
Back in August 2020 the average seven day infection rate stood at 5, today it is 267.
North Yorkshire's Director of Public Health, Louise Wallace, says North Yorkshire's average is below the English average but community transmission is still taking place.
