Scarborough Athletic have discovered their next opponents in the Isuzu FA Trophy, following the release of the second round proper draw.
The club has been drawn away to face Leek Town in the upcoming stage of the competition.
Leek Town play in the Pitching In Northern Premier League - Premier Division, the same division as Whitby Town. Leek are currently 17th in the table having won 4 games this season, drawn 2 and lost 7.
The draw pits Scarborough Athletic in one of the 40 ties scheduled for this phase. The fixtures for the second round proper are set to take place on Saturday 15 November 2025.
The Isuzu FA Trophy offers significant historical prestige and financial reward for participating clubs. The FA Challenge Trophy competition was initially started in 1969 for all non-Football League clubs registering professional players, providing them with a realistic chance of playing in a Wembley Final.
Historically, Scarborough holds a notable record in the competition. The club is credited, alongside Telford United and Woking, with leading the way with three Trophy wins each.
Clubs advancing from this round stand to gain a substantial financial boost. Winning clubs in the second round proper will receive £3,750 from the competition prize fund. Teams that are defeated at this stage will still be awarded £1,000.
The Isuzu FA Trophy is one of several major cup competitions overseen by The FA, sitting alongside The Emirates FA Cup and The Adobe Women’s FA Cup.
