Trevor Bull says the club will continue to live within it's means as promotion pits boro against some big spenders.
With a month to go until the start of pre season friendlies, Scarborough Athletics' Chairman says he's under no illusion about the challenges that face the club following their promotion to national league north.
Speaking to Scarborough Athletic TV - Trevor Bull says the club will face increased costs from longer away trips, and on the pitch they will be facing some teams with big budgets.
Trevor Bull says the club will continue to be prudent in it's spending following the step up the football pyramid.
Trevor says some clubs in National League North have annual budgets of over a million pounds - he says boro will continue to work within it's capabilities.
The new league season will stat on Saturday August 6th, ahead of that Boro will be playing a number of pre-season friendlies including
- Tuesday 5th July, Goole AFC v Scarborough Athletic, 7.45pm
- Saturday 9th July, Bridlington Town v Scarborough Athletic, 3pm
- Tuesday 12th July, Scarborough Athletic v Pickering Town, 7:45pm
- Saturday 16th July, Scarborough Athletic v Stockton Town, 3pm
- Tuesday 19th July, Scarborough Athletic v Yorkshire Amateur, 7:45pm
- Saturday 23rd July, South Shields v Scarborough Athletic, 3pm
- Saturday 30th July, Scarborough Athletic v Marske United, 3pm
