Summer rugby is returning to Whitby Rugby Club today with a Whitby 10's competition.
A number of clubs from across the North East are taking part.
The sport has suffered worse than most due to it's physical nature.
Rugby Union features close physical contact, including rucks and mauls.
Training has meant leaving out those elements of the sport.
