Carriageway resurfacing and drainage work will be carried out on Westgate starting from today.
North Yorkshire Council say that from 18th March to 8th April there will be temporary traffic lights between 9.30am and 3pm on weekdays, and from 9th April to 12th April there will be a full road closure from 6pm to midnight each day.
The dates are subject to change depending on weather conditions and are subject to other emergencies on the highway network causing delays.
