The Red Arrows delighted the thousands looking on in Scarborough with their usual thrilling display.
The elite pilots first flew over Whitby, then quickly made the 22-mile trip south and arrived around 1.00pm for Armed Forces Day on Scarborough seafront:

As well as the Red Arrows, a packed Armed Forces Day has featured the RAF Falcons parachute display team, military bands and parades, a number of military vehicles and vessels, as well as stalls all along Scarborough's South Bay.
As predicted thousands of visitors came out to take in the spectacle.
