A leading local health official says vaccine clinics on the Yorkshire Coast have attracted younger people leading to more first doses as all adults are offered a first jab.
Pop up COVID vaccine clinics on the Yorkshire Coast have been sucessful in getting a first dose of vaccine into more people.
Amanda Bloor from the NHS in North Yorkshire says the data shows that they have been sucessful at making the jabs more accessible to younger people.
Amanda says it's partly due to the hassle free walk in nature, but may also be down to the majority of the clinics being at the weekend.
Tomorrow's easing of the lockdown restrictions means many of the measures put in place to keep us all safe from the spread of COVID are no longer legally required.
But health bosses in North Yorkshire say things like face masks and social distancing are still sensible precautions to take.
