The Chief Constable of Humberside Police says the force has ripped the heart out of organised crime in Bridlington.
Paul Anderson says the 64 arrests in the town as part of Operation Shield have had a huge effect.

The Humberside force is delivering a "Clear Hold Build" programme in Bridlington which sees it working with other agencies to not only clear crime from the area but then to take steps to support communities and stop crime taking hold again.
As part of the collaborations East Riding Council has been involved in obtaining closure orders on four Bridlington properties following drugs raids and other antisocial behaviour.
The chief says the efforts to tackle drugs and crime in Bridlington will continue.
Operation shield has been delivered across the Humberside Police area since September.
The force says that phases one, two and three has seen some impressive results, taking the overall Op Shield figures to a grand total of 872 arrested and 278 charged since the operation launched in September.
Sixty-three fail to appear warrants and recalls to prison have also been actioned in the past three weeks, and in the last week alone, £57,500 worth of cannabis has been seized.
