There's a grand opening of a new facility in Pickering on Sunday.
The new pump track will be opened on Pickering Community Park, Woodlands, off Whitby Road.
A pump track is a cycling track with a circuit of rollers and turns that allows riders to gain momentum by pumping their bodies up and down instead of pedaling.
Between 11am and 3pm, there'll be slack-lining, BMX displays and refreshments.

Pump tracks are designed to be ridden without pedaling or pushing, and can be used by a variety of riders, including those on bikes, skateboards, scooters, and wheelchairs. They are relatively simple to use and can accommodate a range of rider skill levels.
