Pickering Speed Camera Vans Catch 645 Speeding Motorists

North Yorkshire Police say concerns about speeding in Pickering are being dealt with.

Speed Camera Vans in Pickering detected over 600 speeding offences last year.

North Yorkshire's Outgoing Acting Chief Constable - Elliot Foskett - says the vans are an effective way of dealing with speeding hot spots.

The North Yorkshire force say local concerns about speeding in the town are being dealt with and say speed camera van deployments in Pickering detected 645 offences last year.

Elliot Foskett - says the towns community speed watch team will be supported by more speed van deployments over the summer.
